Qualification
Qualification Exam
The GPTE qualification exam has the following objectives:
- To assess the maturity level of the master’s student’s research in their area of
investigation; - To verify the feasibility of the student’s project, considering the stage of the work
at the time of qualification until the remaining term of the Master’s degree; - To assess the master’s student’s ability to synthesize and transmit knowledge;
- To examine the research methodology of the dissertation project;
- To assist the master’s student with contributions to their research;
- To authorize the start of the master's student's fieldwork.
To schedule the qualification:
- Students must access their SIGAA and register their examination board, in
accordance with ADMINISTRATIVE RULE No. 39/PRPPG/UFC, dated October

- After registering the panel, the coordination will review and approve the request.
